Hi there! Trish here, honored to be Chair of the Volunteer Welcome Committee, and so glad you are visiting our website. I just want to let you know that (one day at a time) Vancouver will be my fifth International Convention, and at every one of them, I’ve had the opportunity to be of service and volunteer. And that has made each one of those Internationals an even more amazing event for me. It has been the same for me all the way through my journey in AA. When I put my hand out, when I get out of myself long enough to be of service to another alcoholic, then everything shifts and I am definitely “Part Of”. And at an International, that’s “part of” something very special indeed.

Hi Trish! Thank you for your service. This will also be my 5th International Convention. Our tiny homegroup has 6 people attending and we’re all eager to volunteer. Service is definitely the foundation of recovery and we’re excited to serve and meet other folks from around the world. Looking forward to meeting ya’ll!!!
